Lesson 4  Fuel it! – Being your Own Advocate

Becoming a smarter consumer, parent, cook and healthy food advocate for your self and your kids is something that will be passed on for generations.  Learn how to get your busy family to eat together more often, prepare healthy snacks and meals on the go, and some inside secrets the food industry doesn’t want you to know. 

Lesson 5 Respect It!

Teach your kids how to respect their minds, bodies, spirits, and foster a healthy self image.  All while living a healthy lifestyle.

Lesson 6 Move It! – Common Sense Is Not So Common

Erase all doubts about the so called myths of exercise.  Learn the real facts the “weight loss experts” or your local gym don’t want you to know as well as more insight on youth movement and injury prevention.

Lesson 7 Rest It!

We’ll teach you how to strike a balance with just enough rest and activity to satisfy all as well as how to monitor and facilitate a healthy sleep schedule for your child 

 Lesson 8 Beware of Junk Food Marketing!

Your kids are specifically being targeted by junk food advertisers with flashy ads, celebrity endorsements along with some of their favorite characters appearing on boxes and cans of some of the worst foods you can consume.  Learn the tricks of the trade and how to keep your kids from becoming the next victims.

Lesson 9 Move It!  - You Are Experienced!    

It’s been a few months now since you began the program.  We have given you a great deal of information with regards to proper movement strategies for the little ones and some for yourself.  Now we are going to step it up a bit and give both of you more challenging “Fun” ideas to implement right away.  Now is the time to get serious about YOUR fitness!  And we’re going to give you a boost!

Lesson 10 Youth Sports!  - 

What you need to know as parent if you are even hinting at the idea that your kids might play organized sports some day.   When to start?  Do you coach their team?  What sport(s) is/are best for my kid and many more questions will be covered?    

Lesson 11 Keeping Up With The Jones’… Kids

Sport or no sport, there is going to be a time when you begin searching for the right activity for your child. Whether it’s dance, tumbling, swimming lessons, a second language or an instrument.  Be ware, many parents have suggested that their decision to enroll their kids into certain activities is purely based on parental anxiety or “peer pressure”.  We’ll give you a heads up on how to make the best possible decision for your child not yourself.
